Tara Tekahentakhwa is a Kanien'kehá:ka woman from Akwesasne Mohawk Territory and the founder of Niawen Beauty. A licensed medical esthetician with 30+ years of clinical expertise, she created Niawen to fill a space that mainstream beauty has never honored the woman who is becoming, not diminishing.

Every product is formulated by Tara's hands, rooted in ancestral botanical wisdom, and held to clinical standards. Nothing is added without intention. Nothing is left out that matters.

Niawen means thank you in Kanien'kéha. It is the name of the brand, the spirit of the practice, and the first thing Tara says when a woman finds her way here.
