In what order should I use my skincare products to achieve the best results?

We recommend starting with Nurturing Cleansing Oil, followed by a Native Botanical serum then Wisdom Cream. Always apply Good Earth Eye Balm to the under-eye and side of area.  Finish off your routine by spraying Resiliency Tonic.

We recommend using "The Granule" 1-3 times a week, depending on your skin type and desired results, as well as using a Blemish Healer as needed.


How long is freshness guaranteed for your products?

We encourage customers to open and begin using our products promptly after receiving them, and we guarantee freshness for our skincare products for up to twelve months from the date of purchase. Like all natural, organic products, ours will be at their most potent and vibrant when they are truly fresh. They will not necessarily spoil after twelve months; however, they will no longer feel as fresh or as healing. They are like a fresh cucumber picked right from the farm, as opposed to a cucumber sold in a chain grocery store after a long period of shipping and storage the older carrot may not be bad or moldy, it simply will not be as exciting or vibrant as the just-picked one from the farmer's market. Because our products are made from alive, natural, food-grade ingredients and are not overloaded with preservatives, they will undergo the same gradual decline in potency over time. We also recommend storing most of our products a cool dark cupboard in the refrigerator when possible.


How are your ingredients sourced? Are they organic? And how do you prevent overharvesting of wildcrafted ingredients?

 We strive to always use certified organic or wildcrafted ingredients in our product formulas, and we thoroughly research each one of our ingredient suppliers.

We are highly committed to sourcing all our ingredients responsibly and sustainably, and that includes wildcrafted ingredients as well as those we grow ourselves or source from reputable growers. When harvesting wild-grown ingredients, we are careful to wait until an appropriate time in the plant’s growing cycle and to leave enough blooms behind for the patch to continue to thrive. And most defiantly we give thanks for what is given. When working with outside suppliers, we carefully vet each grower to ensure that they are upholding the highest standards of sustainability, and we work with local, organic suppliers whenever possible. We also grow in house and on our land many of our organic wildcrafted medicinal plants. 

 


 

Are Niawen products cruelty-free?

We never test on animals. Our products are tested on humans only, and are obsessively formulated to ensure efficacy, safety, and stability.

We also refuse to use any ingredients that are known to be harmful to our environment, animals, or people. Chemicals such as parabens, phthalates, BHAs, and BHTs, for example, are known to cause devastating effects for marine life when they enter our natural water systems. If we learn that something, we are currently using is harmful thanks to new scientific research or testing, we will immediately work to reformulate that product.


How do I check the status of my order?

All of our orders are normally processed within 48-72 hours. Once your order is processed, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email within 48 hours, where you can check the status of your shipment.

 

 

How do I change or cancel my order? 

If you need to make any modifications to your order, please reach out to us as soon as possible at info@niawen.com and be sure to include your order number in your email.

All of our orders are processed within 2-3 business days; we’ll do our very best to respond to and accommodate your request before your order goes out.

 

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, we do!
